Accounts Management Representative

SUMMARY:
Hachette Book Group (HBG), a leading book publisher, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our Accounts management team. This position will help create and maintain Hachette's customer account database. In this role, you will play a key part in our operations by ensuring accurate and efficient management of customer data. You will communicate directly with customers, sales representatives, and various departments within HBG Fulfillment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•    Create, update, and maintain customer account records in our database.
•    Review and analyze at times large Excel spreadsheets of customer data for various data management projects.
•    Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issues.
•    Collaborate with sales reps and other departments to streamline account management processes.
•    Identify and resolve problems related to customer accounts, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
•    Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks.
•    Adapt to new systems and tools, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED: 
•    1+ years of related work experience in a customer-facing role or data management.
•    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
•    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•    Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•    Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
•    A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new systems and processes.

The compensation range for this position is $41,000 - $47,500. Salary can vary based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and location — talk with your recruiter to learn more. There may be times that you will be required (or requested) to work overtime due to the nature of your role or exceptional workload issues or special projects.
